Life Plan Communities are a very important part of retirement planning for seniors.  Since our inception, Foulkeways has not only been a groundbreaker in the Life Plan Community industry but has continued to partner with some of the most respected industry leaders in the country.  While our community has grown, our purpose remains the same: to provide a community of like-minded individuals a place to grow old together.  As Foulkeways evolves, we recognize the world is constantly evolving with us which allows us to continually look at how we can transform to maintain our status as a dynamic industry leader.  These affiliations help to provide us with knowledge regarding our industry, insight into our competition, and the opportunity to work with more compatible partners.  Below are some key organizations that ensure Foulkeways will continue to be a strong leader in Retirement Living for many years to come.

Friends Services Alliance
“Friends Services Alliance (FSA) is a national professional organization of values-aligned organizations that serve seniors. We support both staff and governing boards of CCRCs/life plan communities, home care groups, foundations, and others by providing a spectrum of professional services specifically designed for our industry. We have been doing so for more than 25 years.”

Leading Age National & Leading Age PA
The mission of LeadingAge is to be the trusted voice for aging.

Our 5,000+ members and partners include not-for-profit organizations representing the entire field of aging services, 38 state partners, hundreds of businesses, consumer groups, foundations, and research partners. LeadingAge is also a part of the Global Ageing Network (formerly IAHSA), which spans 30 countries across the globe.

Pioneer Network
Is a large, diverse group of passionate individuals from the entire spectrum of aging services. People, like you, who believe in the same ideals as our founders did almost 20 years ago. Most are engaged in some aspect of senior living or long-term care which includes nursing homes, assisted living, and other providers of services and supports for elders. And our generous supporters include people who work, live in, or visit these settings.

PICANTES  Partnership to Improve Care and Translate Evidence for Seniors

PICANTES is an Academic-Nursing Home Partnership: This partnership involves an interdisciplinary group of 17 faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Schools of Medicine and Nursing, the Pennsylvania State University – College of Nursing, the University of Maryland – Baltimore School of Nursing, and the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Our goal is to catalyze rigorous clinical, health service, and policy-relevant research to improve the quality of care and outcomes for persons receiving services and care in nursing home settings.

Currently, our membership includes over 45 nursing facilities across Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, and Delaware.

The PICANTES Network is supported by an NIA grant awarded to the Population Aging Research Center (PARC) at the University of Pennsylvania.
