Foulkeways is taking a proactive stance in trying to keep COVID-19 off-campus. We are continually monitoring information and guidelines from the Department of Health (DOH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Click here for more information.
As a result, we have identified the following infection control measures that will take place immediately. While you may see these measures as disruptive, we feel there are essential for proactively shielding both residents and staff as much as possible.
- All group events are postponed at this time.
- Closed at this time
- Fitness Center, see Carolyn for ideas to perform outdoor activities
- Library, Gift Box, Haircrafters, Craft Room, Penn Room
- Pharmacy window is closed; drop refills inbox in Community Center mail room or use the refill line – 7444
- Health Care on Main (HCOM) will be open for medically necessary appointments only; residents will be informed if they are expected for such an appointment
- Therapy room will be open only for medically necessary appointments that cannot be provided elsewhere
- Spa room in Abington House will only be open for AH or GH residents that cannot receive services in private apartments
- USPS will deliver mail, as usual, internal mail will be delivered as well
- Pets
- Pets should remain in the apartments except to walk outdoors for business purposes or walks
- Pets are not to be in any common areas including the Community Center and Meadow Café
- Visitors
- Please refrain from visiting Abington House and Gwynedd House
- No overnight guests
- No visitors in Community CenterPlease refrain from visiting the community especially Abington House & Gwynedd House if it is not necessary.
