Foulkeways Community COVID Update for September 14, 2023
Latest Experience with Covid-19:
We are observing a modest uptick in the number of Covid cases on campus, in both residential living apartments and in Abington House (AH) and Gwynedd House (GH). Facemasks will now be required for all visitors (including campus residents) to Abington House and Gwynedd House; staff in AH and GH will also be required to wear masks, except when working in private work areas where no residents are present.
This requirement will be reviewed as soon as conditions warrant
Campus Policies:
Our infection control committee continues to monitor conditions on campus and locally and to consider the requirements necessary to balance safety and independence on campus. The committee is now recommending the following change to our policies, effective September 6, 2023:

Facemasks will now be required for all visitors (including campus residents) to Abington House and Gwynedd House; staff in AH and GH will also be required to wear masks, except when working in private work areas where no residents are present. This requirement will be reviewed as soon as conditions warrant.
- All other policies on campus remain unchanged at this time. For example, masks/face coverings remain optional for all residents, visitors, and staff in the Community Center or Fitness Center. We are taking this step out of an abundance of caution, and expect the measure to be temporary. Thanks so much for your help.
