Come Learn How to Protect Pollinators in Your Community
You may have seen headlines about “pollinator declines” and an “insect apocalypse” over the last few years. This program will present an overview of basic insect biology and the ecology of why insects are critical to the environment and society.
Speaker: Kristy Morley, Senior Naturalist, Wissahickon Trails
Kristy is a lifelong resident of the Delaware Valley and grew up with Herrontown Woods as her backyard. In her role as Senior Naturalist at Wissahickon Trails, she leads a variety of nature-based “walks & talks” and manages the Community Science Program. Kristy is a Pennsylvania Master Naturalist and the Christmas Bird Count Compiler for the Wyncote Audubon Society’s circle.
