Happy Juneteenth!
Juneteenth, June 19, 2022 – also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, Liberation Day, and Emancipation Day is a holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States. It marks the federal order to free slaves in Texas on June 19, 1865. A federal holiday, Juneteenth is observed this year on Monday, June 20, 2022.
